Budget Lithium Swap

Ditch the lead, keep the stock motor: one 48V 105Ah LiFePO4 kit.

Epoch kit includes 48V 15A charger, 12V converter, gauge and brackets. Club Car DS: use the Epoch 105Ah MINI DS kit (same $2,299). OBC bypass may be needed on Club Car.

Hill Climber

72V reclaimed EV modules + 10kW encoder motor for torque on grades.

Set controller battery limit to ≤400A for the I-Pace pack. Motor $353.11 from QS factory; shipping and duties extra. QS155 mount is universal; Club Car DS fitment unconfirmed. Chi Charger Mini: set to 86.1V (21S at 4.10V/cell); ~5A, so slow on a 232Ah pack. Alt DC-DC: Kelly KL-72DCDC or Samlex IDC-200D-12 (both unverified). REC precharge needs an external 22-33 ohm 50W resistor at 72V.

Motor not rated by QS above 72V — confirm with QS before building; cap rpm. Charger: Chi Charger Pro 100-135V variant; set CV to your cap (e.g. ~101V at 4.05V/cell).
